The real question is would your mom be mad about why you were running in the first place?

I think if my students and my friend K's (who lives several states away) students got together, there would be a severe explosion of ridiculousness that would take out the side of the country we live on. K's kids are responsible for many of the awesome quotes here and today's had me literally laughing out loud when she sent it to me.

Kid: "Mrs. ----, when we were running from the cops in [town], [student] wouldn't take his hands out of his pocket so the cops drew their gun. And my first thought was OMG, they're going to tell my mom."

Her commentary to me: "I told him it was proof his mama had raised him right."
