I discovered McSweeney's Lists sometime in college and have loved them ever since. My personal favorites are Implausible Claims Made by Vanilla Ice in His 1990 No. 1 Hit "Ice Ice Baby." and Lesser-Known Movie Prequels.

For Christmas last year, one of my students gave me a large, custom-made self-inking stamp that said, "WTF?". There have been an infinite number of times when I've wanted to just take that stamp and take out my grammar-slaughter-induced frustration on a student's paper. I actually used it once on the research paper of a student who completely slaughtered MLA format, sentence structure, and had absolutely no research in his research paper. Justified the use of the stamp by writing underneath it "where are the facts?"
