One of my favorite students was being extra goofy before class the other day. I turned to her boyfriend and we had this conversation:
Me: Did you get her drunk before class?
Girlfriend: I'm tired drunk.
Me: Uh, what?
Girlfriend: When I'm tired I act funny. Like drunk, not like I know what it's like to be drunk.
Me: ...right.
Can I use that excuse, except I'd be real drunk?
