Sometimes I want to punch kids because they say things that are so stupid and plainly offensive.
Kid: Bruno Mars is gay.
Me: We don't call people gay in this classroom.
Kid: No, he's legit gay. He likes dudes.
Me: Oh, is he? I hadn't heard that.
Kid: Uh yeah.
Me: OK. And? Does that make a difference?
Kid: Uh, yeah, I won't listen to his music any more.
Me: Oh. That's dumb.
Kid: I don't want to hear a love song about a dude.
Me: That's still dumb.
Who the fuck cares?
Not to mention the fact that it isn't even true...
